"THE 21st CENTURY COMMUNITY LEARNING CENTER"
OVERVIEW:
The 21st Century Community Learning Center (21st CCLC) initiative is a key component of the “No Child Left Behind” Act. It is an opportunity for students to enhance and reinforce academic lessons of the regular school day, while also allowing them to learn new skills and discover new opportunities after the regular school day has ended. With a partnership with 21st CCLC, CMB Visions provides students opportunities for academic enrichment, tutorial services, and project-based learning to help students meet academic achievement standards in core academic subjects such as reading and math, and provides students a broad array of additional services and activities that are designed to reinforce and complement the regular academic program of participating students and their families.
